THE WISHING WORLD

"Whimsical and imaginative, with just the right mix of humor, heart, and adventure. THE WISHING WORLD is everything you could wish for in a story--and so much more!"

-Shannon Messenger, author of Keeper of the Lost Cities

"Mysterious disappearances, fantastical magic, plucky characters, and just the right touch of whimsy - if you are lucky enough to get lost in THE WISHING WORLD, you'll find an enchanting new adventure awaits you there."

-Marissa Burt, author of Storybound

“Whimsical and highly imaginative, THE WISHING WORLD is a book children will be clamoring for, saying as the plucky protagonist Lorelei might, “Double ‘yes, please’ with a ‘gimmie, gimmie’ on top!’”

-Edith Cohn, author of Spirit's Key

One year ago, a monster stole Lorelei's family during a camping trip. The police don't believe her. Neither do her aunt and uncle. So she sets out to find her family and breaks into the Wishing World, a place where children become their own heroes. In the Wishing World, a child with imagination can make what they most need. These children are called "Doolivantis." Unfortunately, the monster who stole Lorelei’s family is also a Doolivanti. To save them, she must find the courage to face him, or her next wish may be her last.
